Fuel Lab was founded by two performance-driven women with one shared goal:

Co-Founder & Sports Dietitian
Melissa is a registered dietitian with over a decade of experience in sports and performance nutrition and the co-founder of Fuel Lab. With postgraduate training in Sports Nutrition through the IOC and advanced education in integrative and functional nutrition, she brings a strong evidence-based foundation to the business.
As a competitive triathlete herself, Melissa understands the real demands of training, racing and recovery across endurance, strength and hybrid sports. At Fuel Lab, she leads product curation and nutrition education, ensuring every supplement is science-backed, athlete-relevant and practical — cutting through confusion so athletes can fuel smarter and perform better.

Co-Founder & Sport Scientist
Suzanne holds a Sport Science degree from the University of Pretoria and works within the healthcare sector, where her passion for movement, performance and patient wellbeing intersect.
With a lifelong commitment to an active lifestyle, she draws from her experience in Hyrox, CrossFit and trail running to understand the real-world demands of functional fitness and endurance training.
Suzanne brings a performance-driven, holistic perspective to Fuel Lab — combining scientific knowledge with lived training experience to support better health, recovery and long-term wellbeing.
