UTCT Ultra Bundle (55km and longer)
Built for about 60g of carbs per hour, per 8 hours on the trail
The Peninsula Traverse, the 100km and the 100 miler are long days in the mountains. You'll need steady carbs, salt and some real food to keep moving well.
The Beta Fuel in this bundle gives you 480g of carbohydrate, about 60g an hour for 8 hours, using a 1:0.8 blend of maltodextrin and fructose. The Salty Trail bars add solid food and salt on top.
What's inside
- 8 x SiS Beta Fuel gels: 40g of carbs per gel
- 2 x SiS Beta Fuel 80 sachets: 80g of carbs each, for your soft flasks
- 3 x 226ers Race Day Bar Salty Trail: 120mg of sodium, gluten free, contains nuts
- 4 x 226ers Hydra Zero sachets: electrolytes for your plain-water flasks
Suggested race plan
Take a gel about every hour, and sip a Beta Fuel flask through each half of your day. Eat the bars on the climbs. Running the 100km or 100 miler? Add one bundle for every extra 8 hours you expect to be out there.
